I don’t have a cold, I don’t have a runny nose, but my nose doesn’t seem to be working.

There is no cold or snot but the nose is not ventilated, which may be caused by chronic rhinitis, nasal swelling, nasal septum deviation and other diseases, and you should consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease.
1. Chronic rhinitis: due to the inflammatory stimulation of the nasal mucosa, resulting in congestion and edema of the nasal mucosa, nasal turbinate hypertrophy, etc., so that the nose is not ventilated, but there is no cold, snot;
2. Nasal swelling: commonly found in nasal polyps, hemangioma, papilloma, etc. Since the normal ventilation tract is occupied by the swelling, there is no cold or nasal discharge, but the nose is not ventilated;
3. Deviated nasal septum: the normal nasal septum separates the left and right side of the nasal cavity evenly. When the nasal septum is deviated, it may cause one or both sides of the nose to be out of breath, but there is no cold, snot, and so on.
When there is no cold or snot but the nose is not working, you should go to the hospital for examination to clarify the cause of the nasal congestion symptoms and then follow the doctor’s instructions for diagnosis and treatment.
