Should a mother avoid eating when her baby has a fever?

The diet of a child with fever should be light, easily digestible, easily absorbed, high calorie, and high quality protein. Whether the mother abstains from breastfeeding may be a matter of breastfeeding. The more balanced the mother’s nutritional intake, the more balanced the breast milk is likely to be. For a small child, if there is no milk or protein allergy and no other contraindications, the mother can eat normally and does not need to avoid anything. With no basis for food allergy, the current diet is not controlled or affected. Therefore, in case of fever, infection or illness, the mother usually does not need to abstain from eating. A balanced nutrition and a balanced diet are important for the mother as well as the baby.
