Patient ****, female, 73 years old. Recurrent painful swelling in both knees for more than 10 years. Past medical history: hypertension, diabetes mellitus. The patient suffered from long-term pain due to many underlying diseases in old age and fear of non-healing wounds after surgery. After consultation with our medical team, surgery was recommended. After preoperative adjustment of hypertension and diabetes medication, the patient met the surgical requirements and underwent “left knee arthroplasty”. The patient was able to walk independently one week after the surgery. The patient was very satisfied and eliminated his worries. 4 weeks after the operation, he strongly requested to have the “right knee joint replacement”.
