How Scalp Dilation Treats Hair Loss

Baldness on the head caused by burns, trauma, scalp infection, extravasation of injection fluid, and follicular necrosis, etc., with a total area of less than 1/2 of the scalp can be treated with soft tissue expansion of the head. Our hospital was the first to introduce this technology in our province, and has experienced 22 years of treating tens of thousands of cases of this type of baldness, giving patients back their confidence in life, expanding their social range, and regaining their path to a better life. The basic principle of scalp expansion is to place a silicone soft tissue expander under the normal scalp with hair and expand it by injecting liquid into the injection jug at regular intervals, so that the scalp with hair is continuously expanded under the action of the expander, and the scalp area gradually increases. When the scalp reaches the desired area, the expander is removed, the scarred scalp is excised, the surplus normal scalp with hair is transferred to the scalp defect area, and the scalp is carefully sutured with absorbable threads and cosmetic threads (absorbable threads and cosmetic threads can minimize the scar of the incision). This procedure allows the hairless scalp to grow back with even hair, restoring your youth and confidence.
