What organ is in the middle of the chest

The middle of the chest is the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples, and from the outside inward there are the following organs: First, there is the skin and subcutaneous tissue. The heart is located in the middle of the chest cavity to the left, so the middle of the chest is the right ventricular part of the heart. The aorta and pulmonary artery are also generally in the middle of the chest and emanate from the heart, so some valve diseases can be heard as murmurs in the corresponding locations. Again, behind the heart is the esophagus and the great vessels, which is where the aorta is located. Patients with esophageal lesions can also present with pain in the middle of the chest, often accompanied by acid reflux and heartburn. Aortic lesions, especially ascending or descending aortic coarctation, can also cause severe and unbearable pain in the middle of the chest. Finally, further back in the middle of the chest is the vertebrae.
