A heart attack usually kills in a few minutes.

How long it takes to die from a heart attack is related to the severity of the disease and whether it is treated in time. If the heart attack is severe and not treated in time, death can occur within minutes; if the heart attack is mild or treated in time, the probability of survival will be higher. If the infarction is severe, coupled with the lack of timely medical treatment or the lack of conditions for thrombolysis or interventional therapy, there is less hope for survival and the mortality rate will be very high, and the patient may die within a few minutes or suddenly within a few days. However, if the degree of infarction is mild, or if the patient seeks timely medical treatment after the onset of infarction, and receives effective and timely treatment, the survival rate can generally be improved. It can be seen that the situation should be analyzed on a case-by-case basis, with a high survival rate if the condition is mild and a low survival rate if it is severe. If a heart attack occurs, one should go to the hospital immediately for treatment.
