What are the possible cancers of poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma?

Hypo-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma develops in the skin, oral cavity, cervix, bronchus, and lungs, and therefore may be a cancer of related sites. Squamous cell carcinoma is a kind of malignant tumor of squamous epithelial origin, and its degree of differentiation can be low-differentiated, medium-differentiated, or high-differentiated, and the lower the differentiation, the higher the malignancy of the tumor. Hypo-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma is mostly seen in the skin, oral cavity, esophagus, cervix, vagina and other areas covered by squamous epithelium, and also in bronchus, bladder, renal pelvis and so on. Hypofractionated squamous cell carcinoma in different sites of development has different clinical manifestations and different treatments. For example, low differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of lung may manifest as irritating dry cough, bloody sputum, fever, shortness of breath, etc. Squamous cell carcinoma of esophagus may present with dysphagia and burning pain behind the sternum after eating, and common symptoms of low differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of cervix include vaginal bleeding and leukorrhea increase. The prognosis of low-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma is generally poor and the fatality rate is high. Once diagnosed with low-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, one should consult the doctor in time and actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment.
