There are no clinical statistics on which age group has the highest rate of HIV infection, because there is no direct relationship between the rate of HIV infection and age distribution. AIDS is mainly related to the transmission route, such as the common transmission routes are sexual contact, blood transmission and mother-to-child transmission. Therefore, clinically, people who are at high risk of developing AIDS, such as intravenous drug users and those who repeatedly have high-risk sexual behavior, as well as those who have frequent and close contact with HIV carriers or AIDS patients. AIDS is not actually transmitted through ordinary daily contact, so it is not relevant to eat or shake hands with someone with AIDS.
