There are many traditional Chinese medicines that can enter the liver meridian, and the main meridian-inducing medicines are Chai Hu, Chuan Xiong, and Qing Pi.
1. Rhizoma Ligusticum Chuanxiong: The dried rhizome of Rhizoma Ligusticum Chuanxiong, family Umbelliferae, is pungent in flavor and warm in nature; it belongs to the meridian of liver, gallbladder and pericardium, and it has the efficacy of invigorating the blood and promoting the circulation of qi, dispelling wind and relieving pain. Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of the headache is contraindicated, excessive sweating, excessive menstruation should be used with caution.
3. Green peel: for the rue family plant orange and its cultivated varieties of dry young fruit or immature fruit peel, its taste bitter, pungent, warm; to the liver, gallbladder, stomach meridian, has the liver to break the qi, eliminating stagnation of the efficacy of stagnation.
It can be used in the treatment of chest and hypochondriac pain, breast fetish (painful lumps in the breasts, closely related to the menstrual cycle and emotional changes, equivalent to mammary hyperplasia), food stagnation (indigestion of food and stagnation in the stomach) and stagnation of qi.
