Drinking black tea urine is light red why

Drinking black tea with light red urine may be due to the pigment staining in the tea, but it may also be due to a combination of other lesions in the urinary system that cause hemorrhagic lesions, which have nothing to do with drinking black tea. It is recommended that light red urine be retained for laboratory tests. If the urine test is negative for occult blood, it may suggest that it is related to pigment staining caused by factors such as diet or water consumption. However, if the routine urine test is positive for occult blood, or if red blood cells are visible all over the field of view, or more than 3 per high magnification, it suggests a bleeding disorder of the urinary system, not related to drinking tea or other diet containing pigment. If the occult blood is positive, further ultrasound examination of the urinary system is recommended to rule out the presence of stones, tumors and other bleeding factors that cause the urine to be light red.
