Eusemide is a short-acting oral contraceptive pill with a very high success rate of more than 99% if there are no missed doses during the contraceptive process. If you miss a dose, you can take it within 12 hours and continue to take it at the same time as you normally take it. However, if you miss a dose for more than 2 days, you should not take it anymore and stop taking it until you get your period. If you do not get your period after stopping the medication, start the next course of oral medication on the seventh day after stopping the medication. Most people on this drug will experience withdrawal bleeding, or menstruation, 3-7 days after stopping the drug. If you miss a dose and do not have your period when it comes, go to the hospital promptly to see if you have an unplanned pregnancy.
