How many days can a small wound be exposed to water?

Small wounds are usually healed in 2-3 days, and after healing you can consider dipping and touching the water to dampen it, but it is not a generalization. Some small but deep wounds, even with secondary foreign body residue, may lead to more serious septic infection, and if necessary, may need to go to the hospital for local debridement and anti-infection treatment. Whether the wound can heal or not is not entirely dependent on the time, some people’s skin itself is slow to heal, especially patients with diabetes. The key determining factor is whether the skin has completely healed and is intact, with no localized tissue exposed and intact skin that is protected from water and wetting, which is the assessment criterion.
