What is a nose tip reduction?

Nose tip reduction: For women, a large and rounded nose can give the impression of being unattractive and delicate, which can be improved by nose tip reduction surgery. The tip of the nose is usually reduced to a perfect shape by suturing, partially excising, and scoring the medial and lateral pedicles of the lateral pterygoid cartilage through a bilateral incision in the nostrils or a bilateral incision in the nasal vestibule combined with the nasal columella (the area between the tip of the nose and the upper lip). The surgical incision made under the nasal minors will leave a slight mark after surgery and requires mental preparation. This surgical mark is more visible within 1 month after the surgery and will gradually fade thereafter, and will not be visible when looking at the nose in a flat position, but only when the nasal column is exposed in a raised position. Nasal tip reduction is indicated for wide, square, round and spherical nasal tips.
