The difference between flat foot and normal foot lies in the different morphology, different focus points and different symptoms.
1. Different morphology: the arch of the foot is mainly due to the heel bone, tarsal bone and metatarsal bone with the help of ligaments to form an upwardly raised arch structure. Flat feet are the so-called flat feet, which are due to the flattening of the foot arch, thus losing the cushioning effect of the foot arch and causing discomfort to the foot or ankle joint. Normal feet have normal arches. Generally, X-ray examination of the foot can clarify the shape of the arch.
2. Different pressure points: the pressure point of flat feet is larger in area, usually in the whole sole of the foot; while the pressure point of normal feet is smaller in area, in the metatarsophalangeal joints and heel.
3. Symptoms: Flat feet have flattened arches and lose the cushioning effect of the arches, resulting in symptoms such as foot or ankle pain. Normal feet have normal arches and usually have no discomfort.
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time.
