Conservative treatment options for lung squamous carcinoma include: 1. chemotherapy: it is an important means of conservative treatment, which can control local lesions and relieve clinical symptoms, and has better efficacy in improving quality of life and prolonging survival, but chemotherapy has certain toxic side effects, which will affect patients’ tolerance; 2. palliative radiotherapy: it is also one of the main means of conservative treatment for lung cancer, specifically including palliative treatment close to radical treatment, and 3. Chinese medicine treatment: Chinese medicine has its own unique advantages, which can be used in combination with chemotherapy and radiotherapy to reduce toxicity and increase effectiveness. For patients with advanced squamous lung cancer who cannot undergo radiotherapy, TCM plays a leading role, which can improve symptoms, enhance survival quality and prolong survival period.
