Angelica sinensis and Paeonia lactiflora powder is mainly composed of Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Poria, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Rhizoma Zedoariae, with the effect of nourishing the blood and regulating the liver, strengthening the spleen and inducing dampness, and it can be used for the symptoms of constrictive pain in the abdomen caused by deficiency of the liver and spleen, dizziness and palpitations (accelerated heartbeat, often accompanied by panic attacks), impatience, dullness of the stomach (lack of appetite, reduced food intake) and low food intake, or swollen lower limbs, urinary dysfunction (irregular urine), and scanty menstrual flow. Ovulatory bleeding belongs to the category of “intermenstrual bleeding” in traditional Chinese medicine, and Angelica and Paeonia lactiflora powder is not generally used for the treatment of this disease.
