Prevention and control of febrile reactions in infusion reactions

Febrile reactions in infusion reactions are caused by impurities in infusion drugs, or contaminated infusion sets, unhygienic operating environment, and failure to strictly implement aseptic operation. If a febrile reaction is found, the infusion needs to be stopped immediately, replaced with a new infusion set and medicine, and the infusion speed slowed down. In case of severe infusion reactions, comprehensive treatment measures are required. The main measures to prevent febrile reactions are to carefully check the expiration date of drugs before infusion, observe whether the color changes, whether there is precipitation, whether the bottle is loose and broken, whether the packaging of the infusion set is sealed, whether there is air leakage and whether there is no expiration, whether the hygiene requirements of the infusion environment are qualified, which can be disinfected by ultraviolet light regularly, and whether the treatment room should meet the requirements of aseptic operation.
