What to do if you always suspect you have bowel cancer

If you suspect you have bowel cancer, you can go to the gastrointestinal surgery department of a regular hospital, explain your situation to the doctor, and undergo tests such as colonoscopy, CT and tumor markers if necessary.
Bowel cancer is a general term for cancers of the intestinal tract, which can be categorized into rectal cancer, colon cancer, small bowel cancer and many other cancers in different locations. Generally speaking, patients with bowel cancer will experience certain digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, blood in stool, etc. However, some patients may also have no obvious symptoms.
If a patient suspects that he/she has developed bowel cancer, he/she should go to a regular hospital as soon as possible for colonoscopy, tumor markers, abdominal ultrasound, CT and other tests for clarification. If there are polyps or adenomatous polyps in the intestines, endoscopic resection or surgery is feasible depending on the size of the polyps, and the resected tissues need to be routinely examined for pathology.
If the bowel is completely normal during colonoscopy, there is no need to worry too much about colorectal cancer. You should pay attention to your diet and regulate your emotions.
