What’s going on with the hard scapula meat?

The hardness of shoulder blade may be caused by physiological factors such as cold, or it may be caused by pathological factors such as myofasciitis and frozen shoulder.
1. Physiological factors: after the shoulder joint is cooled locally, the blood vessels contract and the blood supply to the surrounding soft tissues decreases, resulting in muscle tension and hardness; in addition, long-term shoulder weight-bearing people can also cause hardness of the local muscles of the scapula due to long-term localized pressure and friction.
2. Tendinitis: it may be due to poor sitting posture, long-term work and other factors, if the patient keeps the same posture for a long time, resulting in local muscle strain aseptic inflammation, leading to local muscle stiffness and pain symptoms.
3. Frozen shoulder: trauma, joint degeneration, chronic strain and other factors can lead to aseptic inflammation around the shoulder joint, shoulder joint soft tissue inflammatory adhesion, can lead to pain, stiffness and dysfunction of the shoulder joint and other symptoms.
There may be other reasons for scapular meat stiffness, if physiological factors are ruled out, it is recommended that patients actively seek medical attention to identify the causes and carry out targeted treatment.
