Indications for surgery for tenosynovitis

The main indications for tendonitis surgery are the following: first, persistent and severe pain. Second, local inflammatory edema. Third, local adhesions and scarring. Fourth, local limitation of movement or weakness. Fifth, after conservative treatment, the above symptoms are not relieved or recurrent. Surgery for tenosynovitis is usually done by minimally invasive means, such as a small needle or simply cutting open the tendon sheath, exposing it, or trimming away some of the surrounding scarring and adhesions. The surgery is technically more mature and simple, and the postoperative treatment results are excellent.
