The difference between Dingkundan and Kuntai capsules lies in the composition, efficacy, indications, etc., the specific use of medication in accordance with medical advice.
1. Composition: Dingkundan is made of Panax ginseng, Paeonia lactiflora, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata and so on; Kuntai Capsule is made of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Coptidis, Colla Corii Asini, Paeoniae lactiflora, Scutellaria baicalensis, Poria.
2. Efficacy: Dingkundan has the effect of nourishing qi and blood, regulating menstruation and relieving depression; Kuntai Capsule has the effect of nourishing yin and clearing heat, tranquilizing the mind and removing vexation.
3. Indications: Dingkundan is used for menstrual disorders caused by deficiency of qi and blood, stagnation of qi and blood stasis, bleeding due to collapse and leakage, abdominal pain during menstruation, red and white leucorrhoea (abnormal leucorrhoea with blood or blood clots), postpartum deficiency, blood dizziness and blood loss, and tidal fever of bone vapor (a bout of heat, and the feeling of heat from the inside of the bone to the outside of the penetration of the heat), and so on.
Kuntai capsule is suitable for use before and after menopause evidence of yin deficiency and fire, symptoms of hot flashes, red face, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, a little movement sweating aggravated) night sweating (sweating abnormally after falling asleep, wake up sweating to stop), upset, insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, hands and feet, and heart fever; women’s ovarian dysfunction and menopausal syndrome to see the above manifestations.
Dingkundan adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear. Avoid cold, greasy and stimulating food during consumption; stop taking when you have a cold or flu.
Kuntai capsule after the use of drugs may occasionally appear abdominal distension, stomach pain adverse reactions. Yang deficiency is prohibited. Avoid spicy food, less greasy, should not be taken at the same time with cold and flu medicine.
