Acyclovir Tablets

Acyclovir Tablets belong to the group of viral polymerase inhibitors, which exert their antiviral effects by inhibiting or interfering with the synthesis of viral DNA during the cleavage phase.
Acyclovir tablets are mainly used in the treatment of herpes simplex and herpes zoster, and also in the treatment of chickenpox in immunodeficient patients. This product can cause renal impairment and the dose should be adjusted according to creatinine clearance in patients with renal insufficiency.
Adverse reactions such as dizziness, headache, arthralgia, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, thirst, mild elevation of proteinuria and urea nitrogen, and itching of the skin may occasionally occur when taking acyclovir tablets, and long-term use of the drug may also cause acne, insomnia, menstrual disorders and other symptoms.
Note that this product is prohibited for those who are allergic to this product, dehydration or already have hepatic or renal insufficiency need to be used with caution. Special populations: pregnant women should weigh the pros and cons before deciding whether to use the drug, lactating women should be used with caution.
