What is an invisible penis

Cryptorchidism is a group of disorders in which the penile body is still developing normally and the penis is buried in the suprapubic fat pad, also known as penile dyspareunia. Penile dyspareunia encompasses a group of clinical phenomena caused by different etiologic factors that are predominantly pubic shortening. For example, hidden penis, buried penis, and bound penis. In the past decades, due to the different etiologies of these phenomena, the naming is different, resulting in confusion in the naming, categorization and typing of these diseases. It can occur in both children and adults, often in obese people. The main symptom of penile dyspareunia is that the circumcision ring is narrow. In children, the penis appears to be short and mounded or bird’s beak-like when the patient is lying down, and the circumcision cavity is narrow. In some severe cases, the body of the penis does not even enter the circumcision. The circumcision cavity is empty and the foreskin is separated from the body of the penis.
