What’s wrong with small blisters on the eyelid plate?

The appearance of small blisters on the patient’s eyelids may be caused by viral infections, blocked blepharoplasty glands, contact dermatitis, and so on.
1. Blepharoplasty: If a blister appears on the edge of the eyelid or at the root of the eyelashes, the blepharoplasty gland may be blocked, causing a bulging swelling, and the patient may experience discomfort such as a foreign body sensation in the eye.
2. Viral infection: If the patient’s eyelids are infected with herpes zoster and other viruses, the patient’s eyelids may appear in clusters of blisters, which may also be accompanied by severe pain and burning sensation of the skin and other discomforts.
3. Contact dermatitis: contact dermatitis is caused by exposure to certain chemicals such as cosmetics, and the patient may experience eyelid redness, swelling, itching and other discomforts, and in severe cases, blisters and vesicles may also appear on the eyelids.
It is recommended that patients with elevated eyelid swellings seek prompt medical attention to assess their condition and follow doctor’s instructions for treatment.
