What are the small bumps on the cervix?

Small bumps on the cervix are caused by cervical glandular cysts, called cervical nidus. Cervical glandular cysts are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, mainly squamous epithelium in the transformation zone of the cervical surface, and in the process of replacing the columnar epithelium, the new squamous epithelium covers the mouth of the cervical glandular ducts or extends into the glandular ducts blocking the mouth of the cervical glandular ducts, resulting in obstruction of the drainage of cervical glandular secretions and retention of secretions forming cysts. If the cyst continues to grow and there is obvious swelling, a colposcopic needle operation can be performed to drain the trapped secretions to allow the cyst to heal. Avoid spicy, hot and irritating foods, keep the pubic area hygienic and clean, and if there is vaginitis, treat it promptly to avoid upstream infection of the cervix.
