Raw Atractylodes Macrocephala has the effects of tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and inducing diuresis (drying dampness and reducing water-dampness in the body), etc., while Bran-fried Atractylodes Macrocephala can moderate the dryness, borrowing the bran to enter the middle, enhancing the effect of strengthening the spleen, and it is used for spleen and stomach disharmony, and dysfunction of transportation and digestion. Atractylodes macrocephala is sweet, bitter and warm in nature, and enters the spleen and stomach meridians. Its effects include tonifying Qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and inducing diuresis, stopping sweating and tranquilizing the fetus. It is often used clinically to treat weak spleen qi (weak spleen qi), poor appetite and tiredness, abdominal distension and diarrhea, phlegm-drinking and vertigo-palpitations (vertigo and palpitations due to phlegm-drinking and evil qi), edema, qi deficiency and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by the slightest movement of sweating), and restlessness of the fetus due to deficiency of the spleen. Atractylodes macrocephala can moderate the dryness and enhance the effect of strengthening the spleen through the use of bran, and is used for spleen and stomach disharmony, dysfunction of transportation and digestion, low food consumption and distension, tiredness and fatigue (tiredness and fatigue), spontaneous sweating due to deficiency of the epidermis (due to frequent and natural sweating caused by weakness of the muscular epidermis), and restlessness of the fetus.
