If the vaginal discharge has a foul odor, the following diseases should be excluded clinically. The first one is cervical cancer, when the cancerous tissue is necrotic, the vaginal discharge will have a very foul odor. Gynecological examination can reveal cervical redundancy or cervical bleeding, and cervical cancer screening can be done. If it is cervical cancer, timely treatment will be given. The second one is cancer of the endometrium. When cancer occurs in the endometrium, the local infection will cause the vaginal discharge to have a very bad odor. Ultrasound examination is recommended to find abnormal thickening of the endometrium or uneven echogenicity, and diagnostic scraping is recommended.
