Is bleeding during ovulation a deficiency of qi and blood?

Ovulation bleeding belongs to the category of intermenstrual bleeding in Chinese medicine. Bleeding between periods is usually not caused by qi and blood deficiency, but is mostly related to kidney yin deficiency, dampness and heat, and blood stasis. 1. Symptoms of intermenstrual bleeding caused by kidney yin deficiency are: bleeding between periods, small or slightly large amount, bright red color, sticky texture; dizziness, tinnitus, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, and heartburn and heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest (irritability and sultriness)). 2. Symptoms of intermenstrual bleeding caused by dampness-heat are: small amount of vaginal bleeding during intermenstrual period, dark red in color and thick in texture, central blood in the leukorrhea, or reddish-white leukorrhea (abnormal leukorrhea with blood or blood clots), lumbar-sacral soreness; or pain in the lower abdomen, fatigue (mental exhaustion, weakness), fullness of the chest and ribs (chest and ribs), and so on. 3. Symptoms of bleeding between periods caused by blood stasis are: low or slightly heavy bleeding between periods, dark red color, purple-black color or blood clots, distending or stabbing pain in one or both sides of the abdomen, refusing to be pressed, chest tightness and irritability, etc. If there is ovulation bleeding, the patient may feel pain in the lower abdomen, or have pain in the chest and ribs. If you have ovulation bleeding, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time.
