Is obstructive ventilation disorder serious?

Whether obstructive ventilation disorder is serious or not is determined by the degree of obstruction, and it is more serious if it falls into the category of severe obstruction and above.

Obstructive ventilation disorder refers to the narrowing of the airway that causes the lungs to be obstructed when breathing, the airflow slows down, and finally leads to the gas in the lungs can not be exhaled normally, this disease is generally categorized into mild, moderate, severe and very severe degrees, and there is a difference in the effect of the different degrees of obstruction after treatment.

Mild patients generally have no obvious symptoms, FEV1pred is greater than or equal to 80%, so no special treatment;

Moderate obstructive ventilation disorders with FEV1pred <80% and greater than or equal to 50% can be treated with oxygen therapy, i.e., oxygen inhalation, with relatively good results;

Severe obstructive ventilation disorder FEV1pred <50% and greater than or equal to 30% is more severe and may be accompanied by adverse effects such as wheezing and dyspnea, and the degree of untimely treatment is relatively severe.

Extremely severe obstructive ventilation disorder FEV1pred <30%, belongs to the most serious degree.

It is recommended that patients actively go to the hospital for consultation, clear diagnosis, and use medication under the doctor’s instructions, do not take medication on your own, so as not to delay the condition.
