Cardiography is a commonly used test in cardiology and is a minimally invasive procedure. Through cardiography, the blood vessels supplying the heart, usually the three larger ones, the anterior descending branch, the echogenic branch and the right coronary artery, can be visualized for the presence of plaque and stenosis. The advantage of cardiography is that it is a gold standard for diagnosing coronary artery disease and can also be used to directly implant a stent if the patient has severe stenosis at the same time as the imaging. Another means of looking at the heart’s blood vessels is coronary CT, which is done in a CT room. Compared to cardiac imaging, it can only assess stenosis with three-dimensional reconstruction, which is sometimes not very accurate and does not allow for further treatment.
