What is the triplet law

A triplet rhythm is a term used in electrocardiography to diagnose arrhythmias in patients with ECG. It is the presence of one premature beat after every two normal sinus beats of the heart, in three or more consecutive groups, during an ECG examination. If two normal sinus beats are followed by an atrial premature beat, it is called an atrial premature triplet, and if two normal sinus beats are followed by a ventricular premature beat, it is usually called a ventricular premature triplet. If the premature triplet rhythm is episodic, with no usual uncomfortable symptoms and no organic heart disease, etc., no special treatment is usually needed, but it should be reviewed regularly. If it is accompanied by obvious symptoms such as chest tightness, palpitations, panic attacks, and frequent premature beats, it is necessary to go to the cardiovascular medicine department of the hospital to improve the examination, and to give treatment for the original disease according to the condition, eliminate the cause, as well as anti-arrhythmic drugs such as betalactone and amiodarone.
