Precautions for Bivalent Cervical Cancer Vaccine

The precautions for bivalent cervical vaccine can be divided into pre-injection and post-injection. Before injection, you should pay attention to the age and the number of injections; after injection, you should pay attention to the observation of adverse reactions, pay attention to dietary problems, avoiding water, and regular screening. 1. Before injection: (1) Injection age: bivalent cervical vaccine is suitable for women between the ages of 9 and 45. (2) Number of injections: three injections of cervical vaccine need to be completed for the purpose of preventing cervical cancer. The first injection can be given at a time of its own choosing; the second injection should be given at an interval of one month; and the third injection is given at an interval of six months from the first injection. 2. After injection: (1) Observe adverse reactions: do not leave immediately within 30 minutes after receiving bivalent cervical vaccine, and observe yourself for symptoms such as generalized weakness, fainting or fatigue. (2) Pay attention to dietary problems: you should pay attention to dietary problems by avoiding pickled, fried and barbecued food, and you should also avoid seafood within three days, otherwise it will easily cause allergic reactions. (3) Avoid water: Do not get water on the inoculation site, such as avoiding bathing within 24 hours and swimming within three days, otherwise the inoculation site is prone to induce infection. (4) Regular screening: after receiving bivalent cervical vaccine, you still need to be screened regularly for cervical cancer, so that you can know your health status in time. The bivalent cervical cancer vaccine mainly prevents HPV16 and HPV18 infections, but has no preventive effect on other high-risk types of infections, so after receiving the bivalent vaccine, you still need to undergo regular HPV screening or TCT examination.
