What happens when sex hormones are low

Low sex hormone secretion in women will cause different reactions according to different age stages: 1. In case of adolescent girls, low sex hormone secretion will easily affect normal development, resulting in poor development of secondary sex characteristics, such as causing flat breast development, poor ovarian function, lack of mature follicles and mature eggs discharge, and irregular menstrual cycle. 2. The low secretion of sex hormones in women during their reproductive years may cause a decrease in libido, which may affect normal married life, and may lead to endocrine disorders, irregular menstruation or functional bleeding, which may cause endometritis or excessive blood loss and affect health. 3. Pregnant women may experience a decrease in hormone secretion, such as low secretion of estrogen and progesterone, which may affect the fertilization of the egg and the development of the fetus, and may lead to preterm abortion.
