Bone marrow assay is a test method to analyze the hematopoietic status of the bone marrow by extracting the patient’s bone marrow fluid through a bone marrow aspiration test. Generally speaking, the laboratory fee for a simple morphological examination of bone marrow cells is about$200. Of course, this is only the morphological laboratory fee and does not include other costs such as surgery and anesthesia. If other tests, such as chromosomal, immunological, molecular biology and other tests, are done, the cost of bone marrow tests will increase; and the increased cost is related to the items of the tests, etc. A simple chromosomal test is usually about$600, and if FISH tests are done, it will cost about$1000 each.
