A blood pressure of 180/110 mmHg is dangerous, and most patients may experience a sudden increase in blood pressure to 180/110 mmHg. If the increase persists, hypertensive encephalopathy or even stroke diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction may occur, and some patients may also experience the possibility of myocardial infarction due to a previous history of coronary artery disease. Also aortic coarctation and kidney damage are a potential disease risk. It is recommended that patients should take oral antihypertensive drug therapy in time for controlled blood pressure lowering. Generally, it is not necessary to lower the blood pressure hastily, and the blood pressure can be gradually lowered to less than 160/100mmHg within 2-6 hours thereafter.
