What are the areas of growing pains

Growing pains occur in the lower extremities, most commonly in the knee, calf, thigh, and sometimes in the groin area and popliteal area. The pain is usually outside of the joint, there is no history of trauma to the painful area, and there is no redness, swelling, or heat in these painful areas. How to identify the inguinal and popliteal areas is to have your child lie flat on his or her back, and this area at the base of both thighs is called the inguinal area, and the area behind the knee is the popliteal area. If your child has pain in other areas, such as the wrist, finger joints, shoulder joints and sternum, parents should not blindly assume that it is growing pains, but must take your child to a regular hospital for examination. Because many diseases in children can cause pain in different parts of the bones and muscles, do not misdiagnose your child and delay the diagnosis and treatment of your child.
