Blood creatinine level is abnormal in the early stage of uremia.
The normal reference value of blood creatinine is 53~106 μmol/L for men and 44~97 μmol/L for women. If we distinguish the state of renal failure purely from the value of blood creatinine, blood creatinine >707 μmol/L is called uremic stage. Thus, even in the early stages of uremia blood creatinine remains at abnormal levels.
In the early stage of uremia, both blood urea nitrogen and blood creatinine are elevated to varying degrees, suggesting that the patient’s renal function is impaired. As the disease progresses, the higher the blood creatinine and blood urea nitrogen, the worse the kidney function and the more serious the disease will be.
Uremia in the early stage usually, in addition to abnormal kidney function, may also have symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, fatigue, insomnia, lack of concentration, dyspnea and so on.
Patients with uremia are recommended to go to regular hospitals in time and standardize the treatment under the guidance of doctors.
