Plankton under the heart (mainly refers to the distension and discomfort in the stomach) can not be treated with Xiao Jian Zhong Tang. Xiao Jianzhong Tang is a symptom that refers to stomach and epigastric distension and fullness, mostly caused by stagnation of qi, while Xiao Jianzhong Tang has the efficacy of warming the middle and tonifying the deficiency as well as harmonizing the interior and easing the urgency, and it is mainly used to treat deficiency and cold in the middle jiao as well as liver and spleen disorders, and does not have any treatment for plagued area under the heart. Xiao Jianzhong Tang should not be used for stomach and epigastric pain caused by Yin deficiency and fire exuberance. Commonly used formulas for treating plumpness under the heart include Huanglian Plankton Elimination Pill, Daxinhai Tang, and Hanxia Laxingxin Tang. If there are symptoms such as fullness under the heart and shortness of breath and restlessness, use Huanglian Plankton Elimination Pill; if the lower part of the heart is full and hard and painful, use Da Sheng Chest Soup; if it is full but not painful, use Bian Xia Diarrhea Heart Soup. The precautions to be taken when decocting Da Sheng Chest Tang are that the rhubarb should be boiled first, and if the fullness under the heart is caused by stagnation of qi or accumulation of food, it is not suitable to use Hanxia Laxing Xin Tang. If there is a need for medication, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
