What’s wrong with vaginal discharge?

Vaginal discharge may be caused by vaginal laxity, vaginal infection and vaginal fistula. 1. Vaginal laxity: During labor and delivery, the vagina can overextend, resulting in laxity and even loss of elasticity. When the walls of the vagina do not fit tightly together, it may lead to vaginal discharge. 2. Vaginal infection: As infected microorganisms produce gas and store it in the vagina during reproduction, when the body position is changed or the abdominal pressure is increased, it may cause gas to be discharged from the vagina. 3. Vaginal fistula: Because there is an abnormal fistula between the rectum and the vagina, when the anus is deflated, a small portion of the gas can enter the vagina through the fistula and then be expelled from the body. When patients experience vaginal discharge, it is recommended that they go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of the problem and be treated accordingly.
