A 35-year-old should maintain a systolic blood pressure of 90 to 120 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 60 to 90 mmHg. The normal values of blood pressure do not show any change with increasing age. Hypertension, on the other hand, is defined as a diastolic blood pressure greater than or equal to 90 mmHg and/or a systolic blood pressure greater than or equal to 140 mmHg on examination without the use of antihypertensive drugs. Currently, the factors associated with the development of hypertension are: genetic factors, diet, smoking, mental stress, medications, and age. As we age, the elasticity of blood vessels decreases and blood pressure increases. At this point in time, you should stay within the normal blood pressure range as much as possible, depending on your condition. If your blood pressure is abnormal, please consult a doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions.
