To clear the liver meridian, you can massage acupoints such as Zhongdu acupoint and Taichong acupoint. 1. Massage Zhongdu point: Zhongdu point is the Qie point of the foot syncope. It is located 7 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the center of the inner side of the tibia. It is covered with branches of the saphenous nerve and the saphenous vein. It is used for treating menstrual disorders, menstrual leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), bandhas, hernia, abdominal pain, spermatorrhea, and diarrhea. 2. Massage Taichong acupoint: Taichong acupoint is located in the dorsum of the foot, the first and second metatarsal bone combination in front of the depression. There is a branch of the deep peroneal nerve, and there is a network of veins on the back of the foot and the dorsal artery of the first metatarsal bone. Taichong acupoint is used to treat headache, dizziness, insomnia, epilepsy, eye redness and swelling, pain and distension of the ribs, jaundice, hernia, drowning, urinary incontinence, spermatorrhea, leakage of menstruation (menstruation with excessive amount of or more than a few drops), amenorrhea, stagnant birth, pediatric convulsions (pediatric diseases mainly manifested in dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions), weakness of the feet, as well as hepatitis, high blood pressure, schizophrenia, and so on. 3 Massage Dadun point: Dadun point is the first point on the liver meridian. It is located in the toe, the outer side of the end section of the big toe, 0.1 inches (finger inches) behind the side of the root angle of the toenail. It is used to treat menstrual closure, excessive menstruation, hernia, and enuresis. 4. Massage Zhong Feng point: located in front of the inner ankle, between Shang Qiu (Spleen 5) and Xie Xi (Stomach 41), in the medial depression of the anterior tibial tendon. Its main treatments include hernia pain, pain in the pubic region, seminal emission, dysuria (unruly urination), and distension and pain in the coarseness of the ribs and the abdomen.
