According to the clinical prognosis of most cerebral palsy patients and the pathological changes that occur in cerebral palsy, it is generally impossible to cure cerebral palsy into a normal person. However, through active treatment, some patients with mild cerebral palsy can generally return to society and live a normal life as normal people, provided that their intelligence is not affected. Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive brain injury disease that is mainly characterized by motor developmental disorders and postural abnormalities. Since there is no specific medication for cerebral palsy, and the dysfunction caused by cerebral palsy can last for a lifetime, the process is generally irreversible. Therefore, even with active treatment, it is difficult for patients to be completely cured. However, some patients with cerebral palsy have developmental delays and limb abnormalities, but their intelligence is the same as normal people, and they can regain the ability to take care of themselves in daily life after a series of rehabilitation training. Treatment for cerebral palsy patients focuses on correcting abnormal walking postures and training fine movements of the upper limbs and hands, as well as training in hearing, pronunciation, speech and chewing functions to improve life skills. Patients with cerebral palsy who have limb deformities can choose surgical treatment for correction, which can also improve spasticity caused by excessive skeletal and muscle tension, and help patients with cerebral palsy return to a normal social life as soon as possible. Although some patients with cerebral palsy can generally achieve better treatment results with early detection and timely treatment, and can even look like normal people from the appearance, patients with cerebral palsy accompanied by epilepsy, or with serious complications such as severe damage to intelligence, have a relatively poor prognosis and may have an impact on the quality and length of survival. Therefore, it is recommended that such patients should be helped to improve through corresponding treatment, and at the same time, confidence should be built and maintaining a positive attitude is an essential part of the treatment of the disease.
