C-reactive protein is an acute phase reactive protein in the human body, and the level of C-reactive protein increases after a serious infection or trauma. The value of C-reactive protein in normal human plasma is less than 10mg/L, and the more serious the infection, the higher the C-reactive protein level. Patients with cardiovascular diseases, severe angina pectoris or acute myocardial infarction, ischemia and necrosis of cardiac myocytes will also increase the level of C-reactive protein, therefore, high levels of C-reactive protein are indicated in the Department of Infectious Diseases and the Department of Circulatory Medicine.
