How to restore the optic nerve

Usually, medication and surgery can be used to restore the optic nerve.

1. Medication: Methylcobalamin tablets, vitamin B1 and other medications can be used to restore the optic nerve under doctor’s advice. Methylcobalamin tablets are mainly used to regulate the peripheral nerves, improve the microcirculation of the nerves, and also play a protective role. Allergic patients should not use them.

2. Surgery: Optic nerve decompression can also be used to restore the optic nerve, through surgical decompression of the nerve tube or remove retinal adhesions, in order to relieve the compression of the optic nerve. After surgery, patients should avoid looking directly at electronic products for a long time, and try to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes.

Patients are advised to go to the hospital for checkups and under the guidance of professional doctors for reasonable treatment and recovery.
