A happy moment for medical oncologists

When Scientific American surveyed what the happy moments were for medical oncologists, “the moment when a mother takes a bath with her newborn child” and “the moment when a surgeon has just completed a difficult surgery” tied for first place. What is the happy moment for medical oncologists? I have been a medical oncologist for 30 years, and I know that the happy moments of medical oncologists are far less than those of doctors in other departments, because our work is very dull and we often have to face advanced cancer patients and their families. This topic has been raised for half a year, and it has been put on my computer desktop, so I can see it when I turn on the computer, which makes me look for happy moments in my work. 2.A young tumor patient, after being cured by treatment, got married and gave birth to a child, and showed me the photo of the baby, at this moment, I felt very happy. 3.A patient with advanced lung cancer whose vital signs suddenly stopped in the morning of April 3, 2013 (see the doctor’s diary of “A Moment of Life and Death” for details) was rescued and today she has received the charity drug grant from Kemena. I felt very happy at this moment. 4.After making great efforts, the patient with advanced tumor turned around and became free from pain and walked in style. When the patient’s family thanked me with tears, I also felt very happy.
