Women presenting with pain on the right side of the stomach can be caused by the following diseases: first, simple abdominal infection, spontaneous peritonitis or pelvic inflammatory disease, which is prone to abdominal pain and also accompanied by significant painful urination, fever, and also nausea and vomiting during episodes. Ultrasonography can also reveal pelvic effusion. In many patients, this is caused by primary adnexitis and should be treated systematically with anti-infective therapy. Second, there are also patients who have acute gastroenteritis due to intestinal disorders, especially diarrhea, bloating, nausea, vomiting, secondary to unclean diet, and even dehydration in severe cases, which should also be treated symptomatically with anti-inflammatory and rehydration therapy. Third, some patients are caused by appendicitis, which is also a common surgical emergency abdomen, typically manifested by pain in the lower abdomen on the right side, which is progressively aggravated and should be treated surgically after diagnosis.
