Role and efficacy of methyltestosterone

Methyltestosterone is a male hormone based medication that is usually used for male hormone deficiency. The use of methyltestosterone in female patients, on the other hand, is usually used in patients who are experiencing menopausal vaginal bleeding and to reduce bleeding. Generally, perimenopausal women experience functional vaginal bleeding, sometimes in heavier amounts. With the exception of endometriosis, progesterone is usually used to stop the bleeding, and progesterone itself can cause thickening of the endometrium, which may cause some people to bleed more, and by using methyltestosterone to make the endometrium atrophy and reduce menstrual bleeding. Methyltestosterone, because it is a male hormone, should not be used in excess. If it is applied for a long period of time and in large quantities, it can cause manifestations of female masculinization, such as a thickening of the voice, and so on, and therefore the use of this drug needs to be under the guidance of a doctor.
