What is the problem with rough skin?

Skin roughness is a sign of diminished luminosity, moisture and elasticity and can be caused by natural ageing of the skin, or can occur as a result of disease, environment and poor lifestyle. Natural ageing of the skin is a normal physiological process and patients do not need to be overly anxious and usually do not need to seek medical attention when symptoms such as roughness and dryness appear as they age.
However, when the skin appears significantly rough, even with scaling, redness, itching and other changes, or when there is tenderness or burning sensation, it often indicates the possible combination of other skin diseases or other chronic systemic diseases, and patients should pay attention to it and go to the hospital in time.
