CT examination mainly provides imaging manifestations for the treatment of the disease, and the imaging physician will propose a suspicious judgment based on the manifestations, which will not be directly used for the diagnosis of the disease, and the probability of misdiagnosis is small. Tuberculosis is characterized by polymorphic lesions in CT examination, such as nodules, exudates, proliferation, calcification, cavities, pleural thickening and pleural effusion. However, nodules and proliferation can be found in lung infections and silicosis, pleural effusion can be found in lung cancer, and cavities can be caused by cancerous tumors and lung abscesses, which need to be differentiated. If TB is examined by CT alone, an accurate judgment cannot be made. If some features of tuberculosis are found in CT examination, it is recommended to cooperate with professional respiratory physician to improve the systematic examination, combined with the patient’s clinical symptoms and examination results, to carry out comprehensive analysis and diagnosis. Once diagnosed with tuberculosis, the patient should go to a tuberculosis hospital for isolation treatment as soon as possible to prevent infection.
