Complications of maintenance hemodialysis

Complications can occur in maintenance hemodialysis. The first is allergic reaction, which is divided into type A and type B. Type A occurs within half an hour of dialysis and manifests as chest pain, fever, abdominal cramps, and dialysis should be stopped in time and anti-allergy drugs should be applied; type B occurs about an hour of dialysis and does not need to be stopped, and symptomatic treatment with anti-allergy drugs is sufficient. Next is the imbalance syndrome, with nausea, vomiting, cramps, and even epilepsy; there is also hypertension and hypotension, and some patients have complications such as cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, and heart attack.
